    Hello,

I have a PC that has once crashed with the blue screen: Windows has detected an error and needs to shutdown for your safety

    PC has WinXP Pro.

I have the mini dump file that was generated from the crash and I'm not very good at reading them is anyone able to see any cause for the system crash.

    Thanks in advance
    David

Your issue is with the driver Elousb.sys and is a USB touchmonitor driver for Windows XP/2000. - Elo TouchSystems Driver Package for Windows XP and 2000 - Elo Touchsystems, Inc.

USB Elo Touch-screen attached to the PC

    Thanks for your response.

This is very possible as they have a USB Elo Touch-screen attached to the PC.

I will attempt to remove the Elo Touchsystems software and re-install a fresh copy. The version they are using should be the latest version as it was downloaded from the Elo website rather than using the CD however, I will also double check this.

Once done I will monitor and post an update in the future.

    Thanks again,
    David
