    Hi all,

When I'm starting up my other computer, blue screen comes up with an error message (a series of numbers) telling me to scan for viruses and run a DSKCHK /f.
But I cant do anything, theres no power going to my mouse or keyboard. Prior to this, everything was working fine, I was defragging the computer and deleting some programs. I'm guessing that had sumthing to do with it. Is my hard drive dead? Its a Dell 4600, running XP. If you need more info, please ask. Whut can I do to try and fix this?

    Thanks for the help.

Are you able to boot into the BIOS?

Well I can get into the Setup and Boot menu. How would I access BIOS? Also, its a 0x0000007B error. So I'm looking into that atm.

Sorry, Setup is the BIOS. So yeah I can boot into it.

    As per auhma.org -- 0x0000007B: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Windows lost access to the system partition or boot volume during the startup process. Typical causes: Installing incorrect device drivers when installing or upgrading storage adapter hardware, or a virus.
