Blue Screen of Death error 1000008e

Hi there,

Wonder if anyone can help!!!???

Keep getting the dreaded BSOD when trying to boot up. Finally managed to grab the error message and got the following:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 806ee753, parameter3 f7154a54, parameter4 00000000.

I understand this is usually a driver or hardware error, but I'm trying to find out which one!?!

This needs to be another forum such as Windows OS or Device Drivers but to help answer your question 0x8E errors are almost always due to hardware problems.

Since we don't really have any information to guide us go to thei link and read and follow any advice that you believe pertains to your issue. Then get back to us and tell us if it has or has not been resolved.

I've gone through the guide and covered everything off, but am still getting errors so I have posted several minidumps in the OS forum.

I'll let you know how it turns out and what the cause was.
