can someone please help me out with the blue screen of death issue i am having. i already cold started and hitting f8 and was able to actually download some updates. i believe there were like 5or 6 reccomended updates but after successfuly completing one of the updates i had to restart my computer. i'm running windows xp by the way. initially the blue screen said there was a buffer issue. after restarting with the updats it now has identified the problem as being a beep.sys file. so i tried to do the f8 thing again but shortly after the windows music plays it goes to the blue screen again. also i have lost my recovery disk. any suggestions?
