10 days since the last BSOD. Only BSOD was when I turned off the computer today. It happened right after Windows had finished shutting down all processes.

Well, it IS Friday the 13th :p

    Minidump attached.

Your minidump crashes at gt680x.sys. I believe this is your scanner driver.

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers, also check for any updated drivers.

If this is only a one off crash, there`s probably no need to do anything.

    Regards Howard :)

    Got another one today.

This time it was a d1.

I can give you some important background to this specific BSOD. I was running 3dsmax, firefox etc in the background, and it had actually hung up yesterday. But I was so sleepy I didn't feel like shutting down the app, and I thought it was still rendering. So I let it stay in the "hung" mode as I turned on the screensaver and went to bed.
When I woke up I was going back into 3dsmax, because I thought it would resume from its somber state, but it BSOD like this minidump sez:

Your minidump crashes at nv4_mini.sys. This is your video card driver. It also references 3dmax as the owing process. It has a bugcheck of D1.

    0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

It`s probably a driver issue with either your Nvidia card or your sound card.

If, it keeps happening, uninstall your sound drivers and see if that helps. If it doesn`t reinstall the sound drivers.

    Regards Howard :)
