Blue screen whilst changing from vista to xp pro

    ive got an acer m3641 , 64 bit os ,factory lnstalled with vista home premium . i want to install xp pro 32 bit , but every time it loads files it then goes to blue screen. it says - STOP:0X0000007B(0XF8D6524,0XC0000034,0X00000000,0X00000000). i really need to sort this out guys and dolls . thanks

    You need to delete the hard drive's partition and format before installing XP. The 64-bit OS can't "see" the 32-bit OS. They are like oil & water. You can set up a dual boot Vista 64 bit and XP 32 bit. I'm running Vista 32 and Windows 7 64. They are installed on separate drives, but you can have them on one drive with 2 partitions
