    I turned on a desktop for the first time in probably a year, and I got the wonderful blue screen of death. Is there anything that I can do on my own. I am good at fixing computer when told what to do. I have ran a scan before on another computer that was from a jump drive. Please help I would like to salvage this computer. Here is the command UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. Technically information: **STOP: 0x000000ED (0x8737FA68, 0xC0000006, 0x0000000000, 0x0000000000)

    Sound like windows crashed, Are you able to do a reformat and install of your os. Or your hard drive crash. These are few things I can think of right now. I am sure someone here will have a few suggestion.
