Bluescreen BCCode: a, minidump included

  1. Hello,
    Recently I've experienced frequent (1-2 times per day) of the infamous MS BSOD.
    My system is AMD X4-630 with 8G of RAM (4 identical 2G from Kingston) running Win 7 64 bit.

    The error message is:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:

    and attached is the minidump.

    The minidump error code is 'A' and this usually means there is a defective driver but the log also says there is memory corruption.

    First run the Driver Verifier to isolate any driver problems and then if that produces nothing positive move on to the memory test.

    If you have recently changed any drivers or added new hardware uninstall them and see if the crashes stop.
