Your error is 0x8E and these are almost always caused by hardware and are especially strong indicators of corrupted memory. Sometimes they can be caused by drivers.

The driver cited as the probable cause of your crash is klif.sys. Update your Kaspersky.

About 6 weeks ago i got a free update on kaspersky2009 to kaspersky2010. So to eliminate the posibility of it being the kaspersky i will uninstall it and run avast to see if it a hardwear or softwear fault. Thankyou for your reply

I uninstalled KIS2010 and have not had a problem ever since so it was the kaspersky after all
