Bluescreen, suspect RAM, but not entirely sure

I've run memtest a couple times and it comes back clean every time, but my bluescreen generally appears while playing MSFSX. it's portcls.dll that seems to be the issue. from googling, it looks like it's possibly a sound driver issue, but i've gone back and forth using creative's drivers, and the kX project drivers, and it seems to be the same error.

hoping that cpc can work his magic on this one for me.

i can't figure out how to open the dmp file properly, as the windows debugger tools tell me that my symbols are wrong.

It is actually a Windows OS issue. Check out this link and read fully and carefully to see if what they suggest meets your issue.

Also, when you test RAM a minimum of 7 passes is needed.

i've submitted a service request to obtain the hotfix. once i receive and apply it i'll make a quick flight in msfsx and let you know how things go.
