Booting to dual hardrives, jumper settings

I have 2 harddrives in my computer. Both have XP on them. I have been reading here several ways to set up the computer to boot to either harddrive. My question is, what are the jumper settings? Both Master? Both Slave? One master? One Slave? Or should they use the other 2 settings in some kind of order?

On the older ATA sometimes called IDE Drives, they should be jumpered as CS
On Sata Drive, they are already automatically Master (ie no jumper)
