Im not sure what the problem I unhooked the HD and put it back the video card works just fine the mouse and keyboard are non functioning so i can't get into bios at all... Other than throwing it away what else can i do?

That's pointing at the mobo or the Hard drive.

You need to really get another hard drive from another PC and try that in there. If this boots try reconnecting your old HDD and boot to your Linux CD or try Linux live/Knoppix. If this boots then its just your install and will need repairing.

If it doesn't work with a new HDD then your mobo is most likely gone especially pointing to your mouse and keyboard not working. However your mouse/keyboard wont work if its USB...probably.

Try for now another hdd if you can and then see what happens.
