Booting without SD-ATA133R

Hi All. I have a problem and I hope someone can help me with it.
I have a Gigabyte M61P-S3 motherboard. Primary drive is a 320gb SATA WD.
I have 1 on-board IDE controller which has a dvd burner and a 250 Seagate drive for backup.
I installed an IDE PCI controller card (sd-ata133r) for additional storage but it wants to boot to that and wont read past it.
I need your help on how to disable it.
I checked the BIOS and cant find anything anywhere.
Can someone assist me please?

Set the hard drive boot sequence in the bios. If your motherboard has SATA capability, this boot sequence is present in the bios
