Bought new video card, installed and now NO SOUND

Ok, so...
I just bought a new video card, ATI RADEON and I installed it fine and it works fine on my PC, BUT since the moment i restarted my computer after installing it i have not been able to get any sound, I have searched tons of websites for help on what to do and NOTHING has worked, i even had to do PC recovery at a point. Here are the things I've tried:
- PC Recovery
- Remove New card and plug monitor into old slot. (screen doesnt even turn on)
- Reinstall sound driver

Someone please help me out with it. I dont want to spend any more money and this computer is my baby.

I'd say it's likely become disabled in system CMOS

When restarting press the key that says Hit DEL or F2 or whatever! That gets into CMOS (setup)
Once in CMOS, re-enable onboard Sound
Save and exit (usually F10 key)

Restart and confirm you have sound.

Thank you sooooooo much for that help, you really saved me so much there. it worked and really happy about that. cant believe sleeplass nights was solved with a simple change.
