  1. Hi, i've just bought a new computer from Cyberpowerinc. and it has been shutting down randomly on me
i dont know what could be the problem, i'll just be sitting there and it'll shut down completely, as if i just flipped a switch and no more power goes to the computer. No lights, no nothin.
i dont know if it might be temperature, but i've never seen it go above 97 degrees.

im running an AMD Athlon 4000+
    1gb of Ram
    Windows XP 64bit edition
    an Asus A8N5X motherboard
3 fans currently set up in there
    and a 420w power supply

i dont know what could be the problem, but i could really use some help on this.
    thanks for reading.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

The fact that your computer is new, means it will be under warranty.

I suggest you rma it, back to wherever you bought it.

If you try doing anything else to it, you may void the warranty.

    Regards Howard
