Broken .DLL

i have a problem with iepeers.dll but Vista wont let me replace it, or delete

could i have a few pointers, i should know all this but somewhere i seem to have forgotten so just a wee hint should get me going

I'm sure i want to stop the service that is using it so i can do things to it but it has all leaked out my ears.....

but in the mean time, i want to re rememer how to terminate a service, so i can replace and reregister the file

Boot into Safe Mode: Start> Run> services.msc> right click on the Service> Properties> change Startup type to Disabled> Stop the Service.

Always check the dependency tab when changing a Service. That's why working in Safe Mode is best.
