  1. The headphones jack on laptop just broke... i've tried twisting the plug a little bit and it worked for a couple of minutes but now it doesn't .

I want to know if there is a way I can to use the microphone jack as a headphone jack.

If it's not possible... there's another jack to the right of the headphones jack with the symbol resembling this: ((*-))
Can i use that one, too?

    Thanks in advance

You need to buy/acquire a 3.5mm stereo screw plug.

There`s no point trying to mess with the mic plug.Even if you could
    connect it,you`d only get mono.

The other socket you refer to,is most likely a Line IN.
