The poll was made in Sept 2007. Don't think Chrome existed then, and if it did, it wasn't a viable alternative.
I'd go for Google Chrome cause it's faster and looks awesome. But the only reason why I don't like Google Chrome is that it does not support some add-ons which Firefox might be able to support. So I still like Firefox but I need to use Google Chrome cause it runs faster and firefox runs so slow in my laptop. (Correct me if i'm wrong)
Im using Firefox, I tried using Opera for a while but it just seemed like a lot of stuff wet wrong with it (maybe that was just me!). I love the Firefox addons though <3
Chrome all the way, baby! From trying out different browsers I can safely say that a browser covered by the "other" category is definitely the best browser I've ever seen. "My Great Test" included several tests of the following participants: - Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, 9 (Beta) - Firefox 3.6., Firefox 4 (Beta) - Google Chrome 7, 8, 9, 10 (Beta) - Apple Safari 5 - Opera 10, 11 - SeaMonkey 1, 2 - Sleipnir 2.8, 2.9 That would cover ~99% of the current browser-usage in the world. The test was performed from December 2010 -> February 2011. I found that the winner was the one; which had the best compability towards HTML5 and CSS3, best legacy support towards older sites, best non-crash record during those three months, highest speed (download/upload times and sheer speed), "Best Looking" and of course, brightest future ahead of itself as a browser. The winner was Google Chrome 10. And I still use it as of today.
