Browsing files in Windows lag?

    Alright, i've got a brainer for someone to tackle. I have a buddy who is having a problem when he is hitting the back button to access a file folder, The original seek is fine, no lag, but then he goes foward and tries to go back and like 3-8 sec seek of the folders again. Any suggestions?
