You can find your minidumps in the following directory. C:\windows\minidump. Minidump files have a .dmp extension. Right-click on the minidump file and select "send to a compressed folder" ... Upload this folder using the Upload a File button at the bottom of your post. I think XP SP3 has this feature now...While you are at it, give us you complete computer specs please :)

    Asus motherboard M2N-E
    2gig DDR2 Gskill Ram
Nvidia's GeForce 7950 GT graphics card
AMD Anthlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
    Windows XP sp3

the first file I uploaded was from the first dump saying the audio driver or card might be the problem Mini051512-01 . the others are new ones I just noticed but never got a BSOD with them

Do you see any yellow exclamation marks in the device manager?

I did at first when I reformatted but there are none now. the one that was there was for the PNP Device ID= ACPI\AWY0001\2&DABA3FF&0 but I fixed that with a download. everything else seems to be running fine

unfortunately no.. not sure what I should do.. and I got another mini dump also. I rolled back the drivers for the video card and that didn't work, but it was the only thing I could think of since I don't know how to read mini dump files. any advice would be wonderful
