    I have attached 2 minidump files for the crashes I get.

    The fault is with your Sound driver

    You can try updating it to the latest version, some help with drivers here: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic117607.html

    I also believe updating to SP3 may also fix the fault
    Let me know how you go :)

    Thank you for the response. But:
    I use 2 sound cards: the one integrated into the mother board and a Creative Soundblaster. is it the Creative drivers ?

    It is the RealTek sound driver

    But the onboard audio chip is VIA. not Realteck. the Realteck chip is the network one. So is it the network chip (the Realteck) or the audio chip ? (the VIA).
