While I was on a forum I run as well as Windows Messenger, my computer restarted and went straight to a bsod saying windows had to shut down and for me to disable anti-virus, etc. I can not get in through safe mode or anything else. I cant system recovery it either, it says font files are missing...

Windows XP, bout 8 years old, HP desktop

    error info:
    -----------
    Stop 0x00000024 (0x001902F8, 0xF9B5080C, 0xF9B5050C, 0xF96586E6)
    ntfs.sys - Address F96586E6 base at F9658000, DateStamp 3b5e36a9

    ------------

I hope I can get old blue back to working! I have another PC I am on now but I like that old one a lot LOL, thanks...

You may need a new HardDrive
A lot has changed in 8 years, the original internal HardDrive may just be too old or basically faulty. (Note this may also be the case for all other parts in that computer)

The idea is to boot from any XP CD (or even a free boot CD like UBCD or Gparted) and remove the partitions (in full)

Then try installing with your recovery discs again
