    This may be a sign that the hard drive or DVD drive is failing. How old is this laptop?

    I am fixing this for my uncle, so I do know know exactly when he bought it!
    but google shows this laptop came out sometime in 2010(I think), it is a core i3 so it relatively newer!
    would dvd drive cause a problem if im not using it?

    I also started to get this error alot!

    First a dialog box pops up and says this!

    Unhandled exception has occured in your application.
    conversion from string "<!DOCTYPE html PUBlC "-//W3C//d" to type 'double' is not valid.

    more details shows this!

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I followed to instructions from that dialog box and set the value to true, I doubt this is the cause of my bluescreen!

    Make sure you have all the Windows Updates, including all the optional updates? You can make sure by going to "all programs" Windows Update and running it till no more updates are found, the running it once more after that
