    Hey Gang,

Recently I began encountering a BSOD problem with Windows XP. Basically the system will start up, and then the BSOD will occur within 30 seconds of Windows starting, forcing a reset. The error looks something like "driver irql not less or equal" and has event ID 1003.

    Error code 100000d1, parameter1 0000002a, parameter2 00000006, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 ba6fcafb.

I have included links to a couple of the minidumps produced after the error. Is there anyone out there that can read them and help me identify the culprit? Thanks in advance :D

If you have not already done so, you might want to take a look in the Microsoft Knowledgebase at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325947 to see if there is anything there relevant to your problem. In the meantime we will be reviewing your dumps.

All the dumps crash at si3112r.sys, which is a part of the Silicon Image SATA drivers. See if you can update these drivers.

Thanks Peterdiva...I will try that and post the results.

Thanks guys, updating the SATA drivers has appeared to work for the time being. My guess is that when I recently installed my new fuji camera there was some sort of driver conflict.

    Many thanks again!
