BSOD need help

ok so lately ive noticed bsod happening on my computer as you can imagine its really annoying... when i restart my computer a windows notice pops up saying about windows recovering from an unexpected shutdown... this is whats under problem details

C:/Users/Luis/AppData/Local/Temp/WER4BED.tmp.version.txt.

anyone know how to help? it will be appreciated.

SInce you have posted your question here, I would assume you are suspecting Virus/Malware.
If so, then start at the top of this area, reading the three Stickies by Julio.

If you decide to try to clean, rather than reformat and restore, pay very close attention to every step of the eight steps.

If/when you run into difficulties, repost in this thread with the details.


If you are not suspecting Virus, or Malware, these steps are still a good idea that cannot hurt you.
If /when you come up clean, repost your question in another thread, under Windows OS.
It will help if you attach 3 or 4 of your most recent minidumps, (In xp, these are in C:\WIndows\Minidump)
