Hey all,

I am running Vista 64bit currently, and all works perfectly except that whenever I shutdown or reboot the PC I get a BSOD. Upon reboot I get the following information:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1000007e
BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
BCP2: FFFFFA6006F89709
BCP3: FFFFFA60114AE878
BCP4: FFFFFA60114AE250
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Can you tell me anything with that?

No we need you to zip up about 5 minidumps and attach them to this post so we can narrow it down. Most likely a software issue but hard to tell without the minidumps....

hi Ecniv

You seem to be using Vista 64 bit but the file causing your problems is called libusb0.sys which is for a 32-bit system. You need to follow the instructions on this page to upgrade to the 64-bit version of the file. http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148985 ... you need to uninstall the file first and then install the file on that page (libusb64fix). Follow the video tutorials as well.

Here's another video tutorial on installing the file ..... http://live-vista.com/how-to-install-libusb-on-windows-vista-64-bit/ ..... or this .... http://video.google.com/videosearch...sa=X&oi=video_result_group&resnum=4&ct=title# (there are 2 methods here)

Let me know how it goes!
