BSOD prob when playing certain games and videos

  1. Hi,

    Whenever i try to play anything on the source Engine i get a BSOD as soon as the game starts up, used to happen with the witcher but doesnt anymore for some reason.I dont even get to the loading screen or anything just a straight up BSOD and comp reboots. The same thing happened when i tried to play the dark knight trailer in fullscreen mode and now whenever i try to play something in windows media player. I copy pasted the BCCodes into a txt file you can download here

    CPU Specs:

    ASUS P5K deluxe wifi
    Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz 4MB/1333FSB
    Corsair 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 C4 (800mhz) (2X1GBKIT)
    ASUS EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M, GF 8800GTX,PCI-E,768MB



    What I've done:

    Memtest for a solid 8 hours
    Reinstalled Nvidia Forceware 163.75
    Searched the net endlessly -_-


    I'm going to run 3Dmark later to see what happens, my VC temp is around 60Celcius.

    Uninstall the ASUS enhanced video drivers that came with your video card. You don't need them and they're known to cause problems. You may have to reinstall the Nvidia supplied drivers.
