Bsod when trying to install xp pro

    some times i get it during the first few minutes some times i get it when its almost done installing i have used differant hd's and differant ram every thing else i read said it happen to them while playing games or using a program but i cant even get windows on a hd plz help

    Two Questions:

    1. Is this a new install of Windows?

    2. Is your harddrive a SATA?

    If it is a SATA drive it must be your first bootable in your BIOS in order for Windows to load.
