BSOD while using a torrent client -- new PC (branded)

  1. I recently bought a new pc bundle (brand: acer) after two weeks it began suffering BSOD. I looked into the trend and found that it usually goes dump when I'm using a torrent client and sometimes when I play some video.

The only thing that I caught during the BSOD is NETIO.SYS.

What does this mean? My PC is not yet one month and it's giving me problem already. I do not want to bring it to where I bought it because it's quite far and the tower is quite heavy and I do not have a car.

    Help!

A network driver update may be needed. Is Windows fully updated? To check this, go to all programs, Windows Update. Check for updates, and download and install all updates, including the optional ones. What antivirus program are you running?

I am running the Free Avira that was bundled with the PC.
