Hi TechSpot users,

Plz analyse the below minidump file and suggest a solution for BSODs....Thanks!!

ok...but can you recommend me any other folder locking software for locking private data? coz I hv tried "Folder Lock" and it too gives BSODs....plz do recommend an alternative.. thx in advance

Truecrypt can create an encrypted "volume". Kind of like a virtual hard drive that is fully encrypted. You mount it with Truecrypt and provide the password/key and it allows you access. You can use it for anything and it even works on flash drives.

thx for the prompt reply....are u sure it won't cause BSODs??
secondly, why do these "locking" s/w cause crash in Vista/?

I honestly don't know why they cause crashes. But truecrypt will not cause a BSOD.

alrite MetalX...I would be using TrueCrypt then...If I get BSODs I"ll post again in the forum.
