  1. Hey,
I am new to this forum, can some one help me with a configuration. I will be using the PC just for browsing and some designing purposes like Adobe photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver and such softwares.

I already have a netbook with 1GB RAM but its not suitable for this purpose and hence buying a desktop for this purpose. I will never use for high end games, so no need High Graphics support. But need to support for flash, web designing purpose, photoshop usage.

I have 1TB HDD already. which of the following config will be suitable?

    Processor :
    1. Pentium 4 (3.4GHZ) - it is available at very cheaper rate ( Less than $20 in my local market). Will it withstand today's softwares?
    2. Intel Pentium D 3.4GHZ 800MHZ 4MB Cache ( Less than $45 in my local market)
    3. Intel Pentium Dual Core E5700 3.0GHZ ( Less than $65 in my local market)
    4. Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.06GHZ ( Less than $80 in my local market)

    Mother Board:
I will buy some chipset mother board which is cheap for the processor you suggest. So its not an issue.

    4GB RAM - I will buy 1x4GB RAM. ( or should i go for 8GB)?

Note: I may also use for watching TV using a TV Tuner card.

So please suggest a processor which will be suitable for my usage. I dont want to spend much for processor, so if a cheaper processor cope ups the usage, then its fine. I will mostly buy a 18.5inch LCD or LED Monitor.

List of main softwares i will use

    Adobe Photoshop CS5
    Adobe Illustrator CS5
    Adobe Dreamweaver 8
Microsoft Office Word, FrontPage 2003 or 2007
    Facebook Games, Online Miniclip games.
