so about a year or so ago i started to build a computer and kinda stopped quickly got into some debt got other toys insted and now im trying to finish what i started and what better place to waste time than at work. so far here is what i have case cant remeber brand but its a mid tower atx psu again cant remeber brand its and 80 bronze certified 800W or 850W all i know is im sure its enough hdd its a WD want to say 500 gb right around there graphics i know its out of date but an EVGA 9800gts core amd phenom II 955 or 965 black edition doesnt matter i plan on OC keyboard and mouse i have i know the gpu is out of date but money is tight and i plan on an upgrade once the money fairy leaves some cash under my pillow set a budget of $500US any input would be nice and if i am in the wrong area for this post please move
so once i got home i started looking around and i was thinking of this set up the 990 sabertooth mobo 8gb (2x4gb) gskill ddr3 and gtx460 and a little later on get a second one in sli so any thoughts would be great

That actually sound quite good. IMO, ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS I'd also pick up a Phenom II X6 and only 4GB of RAM, but 8GB of ram is fine if you want it.
