Building a new PC - check my hardware?

Hi,

I have finally decided to get a new PC. I have spent half a day looking all the components up. I am set with 1090T, so please do not recommend i7 for me. 1090T gives me the best bang for the buck by a long shot of any Intel chip.

I am also planning on getting another 470 later down the line, when the games would barely run on singe GPU (so about a year :), so that is why I have 1KW+ PSU. Is it an overkill?

What do you think? Will it work? Would you swap anything and if so why? Any better prices anywhere? Look in attached PDF...

Thanks

Well firstly, you said 1090T before, and secondly, with the new price cut to $180, the 1055 has better price/performance.
In the future, do NOT use attachments, they will not be looked at; you even have your zip code there.
For everyone else, PDF appears safe to me.

Harddrive?
Ok, you can't SLI with the latest AMD boards, not only that, but I'd recommend the 6850 or 6870 over the 470 anyway. Also, you really should be using an 890GX for CF.
GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

I have NO idea how you got that RAM to $240, but this is better.
OCZ Reaper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model OCZ3RPR1600C6LV4GK

BTW, note that Sandforce is planning to release their new line of memory controllers pretty soon, they're supposed to just about double current speeds. Remember that you can always just throw in an SSD later.

Sorry about 1090/70T mix up.
You are correct 1055 does have 9.33% better bang for the buck, but 1090T has 17.01% better benchmark. But since this is $1200 build extra $50 will not kill me. Plus 1090T is unlocked.

Wow, you calculated it. Don't forget about overclocking, if you're into that.
Sorry, but I was still editing, maybe you should reread my post.

I have read your edits. Am I reading this correctly?

can't crossfire with the latest AMD boards
did you mean SLI? Did not know that.Good that you came along.

And yes 6850 is 17.4% better over 470 and 30% cheaper. How did I miss that? Maybe mistype :) And it will be nice to keep all chips in AMD family.

What makes you think of 890GX?
Do you think that 750W will be enough for 1090T and eventual two 6850's?
Oh, and ram that is 4x 4GB (16BG) for $240
There is an SSD for main drive and I have plenty other HDD's from my (now) old system.

Anyone else wants to give their two cents? I would really appreciate it..
Final hardware list is attached
