    Hey
I'm in a real pickle at the moment.
I'm building a new PC and so I'm going to need to buy new windows. But i don't really know what as Ive never bought it before.
What does everyone think is best. It seems really expensive so with me being on limited funds would it be best to get OEM version?.
I wont be making any significant changes to the hardware so maybe not a problem?. So as you can see I'm in a bit of a problem. So if you could give me help eg prices etc that would be great. Thanks

I would go ahead and use the OEM version as long as you don't plan to change your motherboard or try to reuse the OEM version on another computer you might build later.

An OEM XP Home would cost around $90.00 USD. An OEM XP Pro would be about $140.00 USD. Vista Home Premium OEM is about $100 with Vista Ultimate OEM at about $180.00. Prices vary a few dollars depending on SP2 or SP3, sales, shipping and tax. Prices are for 32 bit versions.
