Can Android applications run on the Blackberry Playbook?

    First of all I'm really sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section. I got a Blackberry playbook a few months ago, it has the Blackberry OS 2.0. The only problem is that there are no apps(very few) in the Appworld. I have heard from many people that Android apps do run on the Blackberry Playbook, But I don't know how ? If there's a way where do I get the apps from ? Would it affect the performance ?

    Also, update to 2.1, it has new update for App player or something..
