V vegasgmc Posts: 1,372 +0 Sep 18, 2007 #4 I always ran my 1700 at 333mhz bus speed which effectively turned it into a 2500. If you're sticking with socket A and your mobo supports 400mhz bus, look on Ebay for a 3200. They should be really cheap.
