Can I Lock or Password Protect Folders in Microsoft Windows XP Build 2600?

    You can, I believe, encrypt them in XPpro, and there is a programme called Folder Shield at snapfiles.com which claims to make them invisible. Perhaps that would do.

    Encrypt it, if you have XP pro or use TrueCypt, Its free and very useful

    Right click on the folder(s) you want to protect and select "sharing and security". You will see options to protect there... in Windows XP Pro only though
