Can I overclock this PC?

    i got a dell optiplex GX280 tower style with 4 gig ram and navida quadro 4400 516mb gpu and a 1GB bigfoot enternet connector and a 500 GB hard drive with stock cooling please help dont have money to buy new just want to make better it 3.0 GHZ hypertreading im running I8kfanGUI program to turn up cpu fan to high

    You can use your BIOS to overclock it, too. Which CPU & motherboard do you have?

    Marnomancer - doubtful on a branded PC. He has a Dell Optiplex

    I'm not sure about a Dell, but my first PC was a Samsung OEM, and I overclocked it through the BIOS.
    There are many overclocking tools out there. SetFSB is just one of them. I personally didn't have much success with such software, with the exception of MSI Afterburner.

    The guy in the video mentions how he can't OC his dell optiplex (although it was a different number) through the BIOS. There is also some mention of him individually checking PLLs until he found one that worked - but I have no idea about any of that. So, I don't think it is going to be a quick or easy process.
