Can I use SLI?

  1. i have a agp slot with a graphics card in and a pci express slot below can i use a second card in the expres slot and use sli or do i need a new mother board with 2 of either slots

    You have both an AGP slot and a PCI-Express slot???

    G31MV/G31MV-K foxcon im not sure that the slot beneath my current card is a pci express slot just from what ive seen in diagrams ive found on the net i assumed it was its lower and further to the back of my machine than the slot my current graphics card is in

    the mother board is bound to suck as it was only a 400 pound machine
    intel dual core 2.5 mhz 2gb ram nvidia 9500 1 gb memory 320 gb hard drive

    but ive upgraded to 4 gb ram and am going to either attach 2 9800s in sli or just the one if i cant based on u guys input

    You cant run sli with an agp card and a pci express card.
