Can LCD Monitors Repair themselves?

Hi all!
just wondering if LCD Monitors can repair themselves, i turned my brand new LG1930SQ on this morining and i got a red pixel blowen. I Turned my machine off then back on again and its gone. any theroys peoples?

perhaps if was a random fluke. but once pixels go awry they cannot be repaired. after a certain number of pixels go bad the manufacturer can enact the warranty, provided it is still valid..

Whos to say it wasnt a problem with the output from the gfx device
