Can we mix IDE with SATA hard drive?

    well the title is basically it...i have one Ultra ATA HDD and i want to get another...but i was just wondering if i could use SATA together with my old hard drive.

    Yes. As long as the mobo has conns for ATA and SATA.

    If your mobo doesn`t have SATA connectors,you can get a PCI SATA expansion card for about $20.It`s much better to have connectors already onboard though.
