Cannot access the "Personalize" menu on W7

  1. Hi,

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and since trying to get a modded uxtheme.dll to install custom themes, having major problems with the whole system, getting it back to normal, I can't actually change my desktop because the Personalize button doesn't work on the right-click menu, there isn't even the little icon next to it.

I still have all the wallpapers I had before the uxtheme.dll patch, and it cycles through them like it always did, but the problem is that I want to change my wallpapers now but can't. I have also tried getting to the service through the Ease Of Access Center in Control Panel but get the following error:

    Thank you for your time,

I would rather advise you to use system restore and go back to your original OS undoing the uxtheme patch ....... goodluck
