I can no longer connect to the wireless internet. I am using my smartphone as a hotspot, and my other devices and computer connect fine, so the problem is with my laptop (running windows 7 Home).
When I run a diagnostic, it says wireless adapter problem, yet when I go to device manager and check out my wireless adapters, it says they are all working properly. I even did a system restore to two days ago when the internet was connecting fine, and it didn't help. I haven't downloaded anything, or changed anything. Networks are showing up, I just cant connect. Please help!

suggest you connect Win/7 via a wired router to get the system networking,
then move to a WiFi connection on that router,

and now play with using the iPhone as a mobile hotspot.

Try checking your laptop manufacturer's support website for updated drivers for the wireless card in the laptop.

It might be a known issue that was solved in one of the updates.
