I just finished installing Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition on my computer. The Mobo installation CD came with Realtek audio drivers. When I look at Device Manager for my sound I see that the following audio drivers are installed...Realtek High Definition Audio version 6.0.1.5391.
So now I want to download a music media player so I decide that since I have Realtek audio drivers I'll try and keep things simple by using a Realtek media player.
I do a search and it directs me to the Techspot site. I download Realtek Player version 4.05.
But when I install I get the following Information message that pops up...
"Only Rack is Supported in this driver Package" and then the installation process shuts down.
The top line on the window says Realtek AC'97 Audio Setup (5.36) A4.05
Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks to all for the help and feedback.
