So orginally the problem was that my computer takes 4 minutes and 12 seconds exactly for any of the following dialog boxes to close: Renaming a file Deleting a file Creating a new folder Creating a new anything. The file is automatically deleted or renamed, but the folder interface will freeze until the dialog box closes. (If I were to open up a second folder and check on the same path, it has already been renamed or deleted, yet the dialog box still says deleting) This really puts a drag on my work. BUT NOW While trying to do the 8 steps located on Techspot I got a bit of an error. CCleaner was just fine. Malwarebytes worked just fine. I updated java. Then I used Superantispy. It found all problems, then asked me to reboot due to the situation that some viruses require me to reboot to remove. I clicked ok. Then it said "Windows error. Must reboot in one minute." I replied, "huh"? and my computer restarted. Now when the next screen I should see is the "select which profile to log onto windows with" screen (administrator, Myself, etc.) It just goes black. No computer activity at all. Hold light is off. Black glowing screen. Windows works like a charm when I open up in safe mode. (thankfully) Though SUPERantispyware gives me a "SUPERantispyware Application has stopped working and needs to close" as soon as I click on it. So, I cannot access windows normally to get the Hijack this log, though I did do it through safemode. But, as for the Superantispyware... well that's toast. No way of getting a log from that. How can I get back into windows normal?
