Cannot logon to Windows 7

    Hi having problem with window all worked fine yesterday came to turn laptop on today and when i type password in this happens, The User Profile Service service failed the logon.
    User profile cannot be loaded.
    This is the only profile on the laptop so cant logon to another one and now am completely stuck, any advice would be great thankyou

    turn off computer> restart PC pressing F8 untill you see a black menu
    from there select last good known configuration and give it a shot....see what you get
