Cannot shut down or restart the computer

Running Windows XP - Unable to shut down or restart - have run Hijack This and removed obvious rubbish - any help would be gratefully received

sounds like a driver is hanging

cannot shut down

I also think it may be a driver - looks like ATI Industries which is my video driver - anyone any idea how I stop it hanging?

get the latest drivers for the hd and update them see if that works
