Cannot view pictures on websites

i have just got the internet for this computer.
and some websites pictures do not work. such as myspace.com, the myspace users default pictures just appear as a small box with a red cross.

Browser settings

What browser and version are you using? Is this a home computer or a business computer? On a network? It sounds like you are blocking images in the browser settings.

IE Check: Tools -> Options -> Advanced and check your settings
FF Check: Tools -> Options -> Content

Allow images to be displayed

myspace.com users tend to link to pictures from other sites willy-nilly; and the owners of those sites put measures in place to prevent it.

If your problem concerns only myspace, I shouldn't worry. Try reputable sources, and see if you get the same problem.
