Can't completely Download Sims 2 Deluxe

    So I decided to start playing sims 2 deluxe again (it worked like 3.5 years ago) but when i start to install it goes to 1% and says can't transfer i:\Support\EA Help\WebHelp_Skin_Files\XP_Silver\ealogo.GIF from media im currently on a windows xp CPU so i tried on a laptop with windows 7 and it passes this and stops on the next. not what do i do

    Couple Times it's kinda like a spare CPU i usually use my laptop now actually maybe it was like 2 years ago don't remember
