i tried some advice that i read online but none of them worked,

can anyone help??

Sounds like something happen when you uninstall the itunes. Is this a MAC OS or Windows OS?

i have windows xp

and when i check out "network connections" from the control panel, there's nothing there.. maybe im suppose to have a "lan" connection icon?

ye im clueless here

You should definitely see something that says "Local Area Connection" under network connections. Can you look in device manager and see if it shows anything under "Network Adapters"?

ye actually when i go right click on my computer icon, properties, hardware, device manager, i dont have "network adapters" anywhere

Well, I've never actually seen hardware just disappear like that. What about if you try scanning for hardware changes in device manager?
